A Native of Baton Rouge, Jarred graduated from LSU, MTI, and Full Sail, film school in Orlando. It was after serving for several years as an Associate Pastor in Memphis, and then Director of City of Faith, a Community Corrections Corporation, that he decided to attend film school. While attending Full Sail, Jarred received the Course Director’s Award for Film Production, Salutatorian Award, and the Advanced Achievement Award, given by fellow students and professors.
After returning to Baton Rouge, Jarred started Red Entertainment Group, LLC, through which he has worked on numerous films, documentaries, commercial and corporate videos, many of which have won awards, and have been featured in Top 10 Film Festivals. Jarred is also very active in the film industry for the state of Louisiana, serving on the Film Advisory Board of Baton Rouge and the Board of Advisors for The Arts of The Dunham School. Jarred is a partner in Scene Magazine, the state’s largest entertainment magazine. He has been a team member on over 45 motion pictures and has been part of the Producing team on over 18 films including ONE NATION UNDER GOD, CAMP COOL KIDS, CAGED NO MORE, GOD’S NOT DEAD, GRACIA, CHRISTMAS ANGEL and FINDING NORMAL. Jarred has served as Producer on multiple local and national commercials.
Jarred and Lisa have joined together to create Film Incito branding their genre as Films of Inspiration. With vast production experience in locations, camera, casting, management, and business administration, Jarred has become a disciplined leader to meet the many challenges associated with productions.
Wendi Coates graduated from LSU with a M.A. in Secondary Education. She taught French in the Episcopal school system and later served as Director of Christian Education at St. James Episcopal Church of Baton Rouge. As a Sunday School teacher and catechist for almost 20 years, her passion for spiritual formation has led her to creating study materials for those seeking Christ. She currently writes faith based films and serves as the assistant director at the Baton Rouge Film Commission. She has worked as a locations scout and manager for films and commercials, one being a story and script she developed (Camp Cool Kids, July 2017).
Lisa Arnold, Director
Lisa is the President of Check The Gate Productions, a partner of ASG Entertainment and Co-Founder of Film Incito. She has over 25 years combined experience in film, television and stage and has a visionary ability for storytelling. She wrote, directed and produced the award winning films THIS IS OUR TIME, LETTING GO, CAGED NO MORE & CAMP COOL KIDS and produced GOD’S NOT DEAD, GRACIA, CHRISTMAS ANGEL, VOICE & FLYWHEEL. An advocate for family & faith-based films, Lisa has worked diligently to build up this genre in both Georgia and Louisiana.
She is involved in every aspect of filmmaking from budgeting, casting, storyboarding and filming to post‐production, promotion and marketing. Desiring to use movies as a ministry tool, she strives to create stories that will inspire, encourage and challenge others in a positive way. When applicable, Lisa creates a study guide with her films to help individuals find strength to overcome adversity and grow in their God‐given gifts and talents.
She incorporates life-affirming organizations into the films when possible thus empowering them with a global platform for building awareness. Lisa’s company produces high quality, award‐winning films of faith. Jarred and Lisa have joined together to create Film Incito branding their genre as Films of Inspiration. She leads the way as a female filmmaker in the faith‐based genre. She is a member of Christian Women In Media, Louisiana Film & Entertainment Association and mentors other faith‐based filmmakers in the Southeast.
Dawn B. Johnson
Dawn began her career in the fashion, commercial and print industry. Over the years she has worked in many facets of business from owning a restaurant to running a state-wide non-profit organization. Through the many years in this industry she established strong relationships with professionals in the media and in government entities both in Louisiana and on the west coast. Self-motivated, she sharpened her wide range of skills and branched her talents into that of management and public relations. Here, she made her mark. Her diverse expertise now spans over twenty-five years.
In 2012, Dawn became Director of Operations at Young Screen Actors Studio. In addition to running the studio, she produces events such as Casting Director Workshops/Seminars, Producer Intensives, and Pre-Production Auditions. For the last 24 years Dawn has run a non profit organization and now is a partner in Film Incito a production company based in Louisiana. Dawn’s previous production and film experience includes God’s Not Dead, Beautifully Broken, Caged No More, Camp Cool Kids and the upcoming film One Nation Under God. Dawn B.
